Denethor
The steward of Minas Tirith, his cowardice and greed failed the good people of the white city. Favoring Boromir over his younger son, Faramir, he seeks to use the power of the ring for his own selfish desires.

Elrond
Among the wisest of all Elves, one of the few to witness firsthand the malice of Sauron and his ring. His guidance over the fellowship of the ring is critical to their important quest.

Frodo
An unlikely hero from the Shire who carries the hopes of all Middle-Earth in his quest to destroy the Ring. Many times he is tempted by the power of the ring, but with help of his good friend Sam, he sees the end of the ring.

Gimli
Son of Gloin, a brash dwarf, whose fondness lies in friendship and food. He joins the fellowship of the ring to ensure its destruction in the fires of Mt. Doom. Hates being tossed.

Haldir
A brave Elvish warrior who joins the armies of Rohan in the defense of Helm’s Deep. Following a long siege, he falls to the legions of orcs storming the keep.

Isildur
The first to slay Sauron. Moments away from destroying the ring and ending evil forever, he falls to the temptations of the ring and keeps it for himself, ultimately leading to his demise.

Khamul
Once a king of man, now acts as one of the nine ringwraiths, neither living nor dead, forever serving their master, Sauron. He accompanies the other ringwraiths in defending the will of his master and locating the ring.

Legolas
A steadfast Elf who accompanies Frodo and others in their quest to destroy the ring and defend the good people of Middle-Earth. His wisdom and skill with a bow prove invaluable to the security of the Fellowship.

Merry
A hobbit and one of the two Brandybuck twins, Merry always finds himself in some sort of trouble, but his strong heart and iron will make him a formidable opponent in battle.

One of the dwarves from the lost city of Dale who accompany Bilbo Baggins and Thorin Oakenshield in their journey to retake their homeland from Smaug the dragon.

Orcs
The footsoldiers of Sauron and Sarumon. Helpless on their own but deadly in numbers. They obey their masters' will above all else, but won't say no to a good meal.

A hasty Ent of the forest of Fanghorn. Enraged at the loss of his friends by the hands of Saruman, he joins Treebeard to lay waste to Isengard.

The brown wizard, one of the five wizards of Middle-Earth. Radagast is a friend to all animals and yearns to keep the natural world away from all kinds of evil.
